  I oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivables departments. I invoice all bills to the military installations we work with and troubleshoot the invariable issues that come up. This is all done online through a central banking/billing site. I pay all bills on a weekly basis and process all payments that we receive as well as pay agent commissions weekly. I keep our Quickbooks up to date. I work with all our brokers in making sure all transportation loads are completed in a timely way and help them with any issues. I help keep up with all the inquiries from the carriers we work with as well as interface with customer questions or concerns. I work to enhance our company's processes and create systems geared to utmost efficiency. It is a fast paced environment and streamlining processes is key. I have produced written instructions for new hires and am currently working towards producing a complete training manual.

  I began as the first full time bookkeeper with Trangistics. I handled all the accounts payable duties as well as the accounts receivables. I handled commissions, banking, bill pay, and payment processing. When the time came to bring on another bookkeeper, I was responsible to train her. Now we have added a third office worker and I've trained her as well. Everything to do with the office management/bookkeeping aspects of the company, I was responsible for. Most phone calls to the office came to me and all email inquiries in regards to the office I handled. This position requires handling many details at a time while managing the relationships of the brokers, carriers, and customers.
