1st job was to setup the AD Sync correctly, setup the process to change OneDrive & SharePoint site location & region correctly on setup (needed to do this at AUT also). All sorts of improvements have taken place (not a full list!): Functionality to replace many daily emails to stores with a process to upload documents, approve and publish to the correct depart per store - resulting in one email per day, with all the links sorted by department was like. Then we updated it use Workflow (removing on-prem server). The IT folk entered overtime into an on-prem SharePoint site, print off the form for the manager to sign. Pass to their manager (sometimes via scan/email/print process) to also sign. Then given to payroll to be manually keyed in and checked. Now replaced with a PowerApp and workflow that now allows on-line entry and approvals. The sched extract job is picked up by payroll and uploaded straight to the payroll system. This has saved payroll one day per month, IT individuals up 3-4 hours per month (at times more) equals a huge cost saving to the organisation. Some store equipment has a long life cycle - they had no one place to go to look for spare parts or replacement equipment (especially where current trays, racks, dishes would fit). Now there is a SharePoint site that all staff can query by store, department or make/model. Which is maintained by the suppliers! who can update existing, add new equipment complete with images. Time saved, has had an enormous contribution to the organisation. Putting paper forms on-line has saved time and effort. Making the FBT process simple through PowerApps has created accuracy & saved time & money. The list of what Microsoft 365 can do to improve processes within an organisation is endless & doesn't need too much imagination either! Creating training from assessing the organisations digital literacy to the various modules under the heading 'Me at Work' & 'Me in Team' has introduced the whole O365 suite to Foodies.

Another new business sector and again a change in priorities and ways of working. Loved working in a really dynamic team that embraces the Agile way of working and celebrating success. Proud to create a Crisis Management site using SharePoint Online and a lot of the AUT systems, using Outlook to where are are or should be. Using wireless access points to understand how many people are in each room & floor. Implementing the technology needed to close and open exit routes depending on the site of the threat. Went to the Kiwi 'AI' innovation competition - didn't win but other members over our team won the overall prize for AUT. Another major delivery for Students is their portal, showing up to the minute schedules, access to emails, OneDrive, their student balance with the ability add more credit. Utilising some of the technology we built earlier we provided maps of the university and showed routes to rooms based on either wheelchair access or able bodied access (interns walked for many hours & KM's). Prepared presentation and printed material Office 365 education booth in the IT open days. Presenting to students and lecturers alike across all 3 campus. Trained various schools within campus to create presentations Sway to wow their various medical councils. Also held training sessions for IT and Lecturers, encouraging collaboration between Lecturers & students. Teaching students differing ways to collaborate within their working teams. I also have taken the opportunity to do a couple of courses in Sign Language (AUT is one of the few places you can learn NZ Sign) pleased to say I passed and need to keep practicing.

A new Business Sector for me being in the Health Industry and I am loving the learning. Wonderful working with a new algorithm to forecast using 12 variables the risk of needing or re-entering a hospital. Working with all the DHB's & GP system providers such as MedTech & MyPractice was a fantastic and rewarding process - these people are so passionate. The G.P.s are also passionate and gained a lot of insight with the information provided. Also had the opportunity to work with Health Alliance and other suppliers as we all worked towards a new patient portal that would allow Kiwi's to access their own medical records to become more informed and involved in their health care.Working with Psychological services to create opportunities for creating multiple disciplinary teams to support individuals and families with loved ones suffering from mental illness. It is not only about the mind but also about the environment such as a home (do they have one or is it a healthy one), There are many stresses that can call mental anguish.
