  As a data scientist at EPCON I mainly focus on visualizing, analyzing and predicting epidemiological data by means of various machine learning/artificial intelligence methods. By gathering both programmatic and contextual input data, I train and create models useful to find hotspots and missing patients in different countries. In addition, I reason about and explain the behaviour of these models. Besides this modelling part, I consistently improve existing algorithms and data tools.
