Anne is by far the most professional, dedicated, and creative communication professional I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Her work ethic, dedication, and care for the organization and surrounding communities is easily recognizable in the work she does. Anne works to ensure internal and external communication is held to a high standard through transparent, honest, and valuable communication programs. Even through hard situations, Anne keeps a professional composure and leads by example. She understands the importance of accessible and honest communication in an organization and always strives to give employees the information they need. I have worked with Anne on the community contributions committee and scholarship committee. She leads these groups with confidence and always ensures goals are met to ensure organizational responsibility and care for the local communities. She actively advocates for volunteering and promotes opportunities at local non-profits and charities, while always willing to volunteer and give of her own time. I have volunteered alongside Anne many times at food pantries and resource centers, and can say without a doubt that Anne has a huge heart for helping others and lending a hand whenever possible. Additionally, Anne is passionate about personal development and works hard to market Great River Energy's scholarship opportunities for local high school students, constantly reaching out to schools and guidance counselors to ensure no one misses out. Anne is an outstanding communications professional with a strong work ethic and passion for building relationships. She not only helps employees connect with what's occurring in the organization, but also helps employees connect with the communities they live in. Anne is absolutely great to work with and her positive attitude brings out the best in people around her.

Anne is a personable, professional team player. She is a delight to work with, and she brings many strengths to our department at Great River Energy. Anne drives results. She is an expert at her craft and accomplishes responsibilities with energy and drive. She enthusiastically contributes her ideas. Working with Anne, I’m excited to see where a project will go. She challenges and inspires me to think of the issue from a variety of angles and to perfect our communication packages. Anne is constantly searching for ways to learn, improve and implement best practices. Anne always does her fair share of the work, and frequently goes above and beyond in providing quality articles, digital signage, photos, posters, creative, videos and so much more. I've worked with Anne on several internal promotional campaigns around safety and security, and Anne does an excellent job at keeping me posted on where items are at, potential roadblocks and how we can effectively work together to accomplish our objective. Anne builds trust and respect as she matches her actions to her words. I know if Anne says she will do something, she will do it – and often send it before the deadline. I don’t have to follow up or question whether it will get done or if it will get done. I know that it will. Anne clearly sees how the work we do in communications affects our member-owner cooperatives. She provides tours of Coal Creek Station and exceptionally represents Great River Energy and its values. It is great to have Anne as a co-worker in our communications department. She’s kind, friendly and communicates directly. I'm always excited when I see Anne and I will be working on a project together.
