As the Nursing Clinical Lead for Remedy Healthcare , my role was responsible for the development, implementation and management of a new community based nursing service to support Remedy Healthcare's early and supported hospital discharge and hospital avoidance programs.The key achievements of this role included successful service scope and design based on current business requirements and future growth, the establishment of agreed clinical governance framework and the development of clinical and non-clinical policies, protocols and systems to meet the operational requirements of the programs. As the clinical lead I provided leadership and people management of a high performing nursing team including effectively managing recruitment, retention, orientation, performance and staff learning and development.Supporting and coaching nursing staff to achieve continued professional growth and skill development in line with the needs of Remedy's customers and clients continues to be a strong passion of mine as is to deliver high quality nursing care to the community.
