I have worked under Anne for 5 years and learned and grown as an individual under her leadership. I found her a strong leader with a canny ability to get best out of everyone. She is a strategic thinker and has been responsible for no of new partnership Connecting Up developed. She genuinely believes in the role a strong Not-for-profit sector plays in our civil society. During her tenure she brought in no of strong Governance and management practices that leads to growth of our programs. She represented Connecting Up and its value at number of national and international forums. It was pleasure working with her and I wish her all the best for future endeavors.
Sue McIvor
I met Anne in 2012, when the Board I was on appointed her as the CEO of Connecting Up Inc. Over that time, Anne led the organisation to increased success, further cementing the organisation's position as a trusted player within the NFP sector. She is an articulate and influential communicator, adept at identifying opportunities, and then creating the environment and relationships needed to leverage them. As well as her deep and broad understanding of the NFP sector, Anne is a progressive thinker who understands that NFPs need to operate within an increasingly competitive environment. To that end, she is skilled in developing more commercially-focused activities and products that can help to increase an organisation's sustainability. Overall, Anne is a professional who understands how to balance mission and vision within a dynamic NFP sector.
