  Responsible for collaborating with the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) to develope and manage the New Jersey Health Information Network. This is the only information network that enables the electronic exchange of patient health information among trusted data sources across the entire state of New Jersey. The NJHIN is also the only network that can connect to state health databases, and it eventually will exchange health information nationally with the eHealth Exchange. Onboarding coordinators work with trusted data sharing organizations (TDSOs) to innovate solutions for healthcare providers, healthcare facilities, healthcare information exchanges (HIEs) and regional health hubs, to connect to the NJHIN.
