I was lucky enough to mentor and later work side-by-side with Anna during her role as a Product Manager at Gild. Anna may well have more empathy, drive, and initiative than any combination of teams I've worked with in the past. Anna was shipping features within weeks of joining the product team. Anna has an innate ability to dig into customer problems by understanding how to build rapport and ask the right questions around the "why". She lead all of our developmental processes including sprint planning, retrospective, stand-ups, and story time while completely owning multiple applications within the product offering to validate and execute features. Anna dove into the details making sure to outline and highlight all edge cases while mocking while never losing sight of the longer term strategy. Her ability to truly understand and empathize with the user makes her an incredibly strong and adaptable product manager.
