I'm one of two technicians who operates and maintains MICA's Fiber Department's large format dye-based fabric printer. Students can print their own custom designs on cotton, silks, and bamboo fabrics. During the Fall, printer use reserved for Print & Pattern class. In the Spring, I lead several Information Sessions on the Digital Textile printing process. These sessions are open to all students, staff, and faculty and are a pre-requiste for use. As the in-house designer for The Maryland Science Center my projects have run the gamut. If it needs to be done, I'll find a way to do it! Projects range from event branding & identity, interal wayfinding signage, map guides, lobby signs, building banners, developmental collateral and fundraising materials, advertising (print + digital), creating custom illustrations, in-house sign printing and fabrication, social media graphics, down to activity sheets for School Groups.
