  During my 150+ hour internship at JCGS, I spent time assisting visitors with genealogical inquiries, creating a database of Jackson County's founding families and cultivating a new skill in library science. One of my larger projects was tracking down Eva Davis, one of the first women to record a country music song in 1924.
