  The awareness committee is primarily responsible for organizing educational events such as panel discussions, workshops, and documentary screenings. The topics we focused on this year included but were not limited to gender-based violence, children in conflict, refugee law, and sustainability. The main event of the year is the annual city roaming, an awareness, and fundraising event to promote children´s rights among adults and children within the Hague. We gathered sponsors, organized a photo booth, and got a mascot and facepaint to include children actively. As the head of the awareness committee, I was responsible for creating an annual plan and supporting and facilitating the events of seven project officers. My tasks included delegating tasks, setting deadlines, ensuring constant and effective communication across committees and the board, contacting external stakeholders, team building and confidence-building functions, and reviewing project proposals. Organized events include:- Flashmob One Billion Rising (Raise awareness for Violence against Women) - Sustainable Fashion Workshop (Repair component, talk from Extinction Rebellion, Customize Clothes, Clothing Swap)- Pen Pal (connect students from Turkey, Malaysia, and Italy to promote cultural understanding) - Panel discussion: Refugee integration participants include speakers from HealthNet TPO and SB overseas) Show less

  Planning multifaceted events, including seeking sponsorship and partner organizations and speakers. The main focus lies in educational events such as online seminars and panel discussions, including child marriage, abortion, and genital female cutting.   I provided administrative and logistical support for the team, including but not limited to supporting the organization of a conference for over one hundred people, taking minutes during meetings and conferences, and transcribing speeches. I also had the pleasure of supporting the conduction of a school field trip to Brussels intended to familiarize students with the organs of the European Union. Furthermore, my tasks involved researching and writing summaries, including the upcoming European elections, the French-German foreign relation strategy, and daily press summaries. Finally, in my last two weeks, I had the opportunity to join the permanent representation of my state to the European Union, where I joined a meeting discussing the result of the European election and wrote a speech for visiting students.
