Care Support Worker delivering all aspects of personal care to clients within their home environment. Responsibilities: Assisting clients out of bed in the morning, to the toilet, to wash and dress. Liaising with all key agencies within my chain of command to ensure the welfare of the client is a priority. This includes the Emergency Services, Police, Social Services and Management. Carrying out necessary First Aid and Emergency procedures in unexpected and sensitive circumstances. Adhering to strict time-frames within the rota to ensure each client receives the appropriate care within their allocated time allowance. Maintaining an effective working capability by visiting clients independently, often being required to perform additional tasks and carry out additional visits to those already assigned to me. Maintaining effective relationships with clients and their families by interacting with them about the needs of the client and providing compassionate support at all times.
