Project: Automation for a power control system designed for remote on-line monitoring and control of power facilities in real time. The control system was implemented on the basis of a three-tier architecture: 1) application server for collecting signals from remote objects and implementing business logic, 2) database server, and 3) clients consisting of a 4 meter video wall in the central control room and 8 remote workstations. Our team consisted of 2 software engineers and 3 control system engineers.Responsibilities: Implementing business logic on a base of WinCC/Server. Creating 8-monitor Full HD video wall GUI to display and control the current state of remote power facilities. Designing and implementing 8 “thin” client’s software with different GUI and functionality, including alarms control, monitoring, report design, and logging user actions. Database designing, normalization and management, coding stored procedures and functions, optimization of queries, creating views. Communicating with customers and team to deliver high quality solutions. Mentoring of a junior engineer in WinCC 7.5 and SQL.Languages & Technologies: MS SQL, VBS, ANCI C, C#, GitTools: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 18, WinCC Explorer V7.5, Microsoft Visual Studio 2019Project: Internal project, I created plug-ins for EPLAN Electric P8 and AutoCAD in order to extend functionality and efficiency of data transfer between company departments.Responsibilities: Development of modules for export / import of data and their analysis using the API. Solved the problems of interaction between the project department and the purchasing department by creating a software data transfer interface.Languages & Technologies: C#, XML, ADO.NET, WPF, LINQ, EPLAN Electric P8 API, AutoCAD APITools: Microsoft Visual Studio 2017, EPLAN Electric P8, AutoCAD Show less
