Led team responsible for DOD Server Compliance and Risk Management. Developed project plan and timelines, identified and recruited key resources, and communicated status to HP management and client. Government's 1000+ servers must be in version compliant, non-compliant servers could not be in service and would violate HP's SLA, potentially leading to fines anywhere from thousands to millions of dollars a day. Responsibilities/Duties included: Developed plan for quarterly audits on selected servers. Developed remediation plan and scheduled for servers nearing non-compliance. Developed Risk mitigation plan and escalation policy Worked with System administrators and IT teams to run security software on selected servers Identified and addressed security issues. Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC), nCipher Project Manager Led team responsible for nCipher Server Migration Project. Developed implementation strategy, collaborated with CAC team on release plan, and created post go-live maintenance and support plan. nCipher application is used by US Military to provide physical access to all facilities including Pentagon, and all military bases globally. Old nCipher servers were nearing End of Life. Successfully migrated to new servers on time and on budget without any interruptions to service or access issues.
