A 20-year entrepreneurial journey has lead me to co-found and sit as the CEO of OASIS; an innovative and agile company which provides UAV (drone) inspection services to a range of offshore and aerospace clientele. Key company strategies include partnering with companies and academic bodies who develop disruptive tech and ensuring our operations are among the safest and most dynamic in the industry. A cornerstone of the companies Vision is to assist, where possible, with the UN's SDG14 goals.

I had the freedom to work on a range of projects during my time with Blue Abyss. Most notably I coordinated the company's official launch event in June 2017 and introduced the Board to investors. I represented the company at earth and ocean science related events such as EarthX (US) and Oceanology / Catch the Next Wave (UK) and assisted marketing in the development/writing of articles and content for social media, based upon my expertise in the blue economy. In addition, I developed relationships with HNWI's and projects for CRM initiation, the creation of an environmental policy and youth ambassadors scheme. The work which inspired me the most whilst working for Blue Abyss was based around ocean sciences and the exciting developments in this sector, including conservation, tech, innovation, extreme environment exploration and the UN's SDG14 initation.

    • Operations Director
      • Feb 2016 - Jan 2017

WINNERS - Bedfordshire on Sunday / Family Business of the Year! (2016)What I was doing....Shaking up the entire business, so to make it more efficient, more profitable and creating a strong foundation for sustainable growth / scaling up the business. My starting point was to create a business plan, from there multiple, multi-level strategies were created which encompassed all key areas of the business; operations, marketing (including business development), finance, communications, HR, logistics and asset management. KPI's were introduced to monitor results, which were positive, across the company, within a few weeks. In addition I worked on project management in CRM setup and re-branding, plus created an Operations Manual for the entire company. I account managed several key accounts which ranged from smaller local clients to large UK corporations.

This business was a RYA training centre for yachts, powerboats and jet ski’s. We worked primarily with international HNWI's, training and licencing them, facilitating family charters to the Balearic's and providing advice on brokering. I own a master franchise based on this business model that has not yet been utilised (please ask for more info). The general work mirrored what I also did within Spitfire, but in addition I traveled to Russia, Canada, the UK and Ibiza for project work and business expansion purposes. I am a competent skipper on a range of small vessels. When we were ready to exit I independently engineered and executed the sale of this business.Check out the drone promo clip we made (2014)! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRFnGhjPHSUPlus one including using a Cessna in Ibiza (2013)! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOM77m4z_c8

    • Events Co-ordinator
      • Jan 2005 - May 2006

Working alongside company Directors in the coordination of community planning events across the UK. Events ranged in size, from a dozen people to hundreds depending on the size of intended development. I worked closely with the firms architects, graphics designers and managed travel plans for all senior staff. There were also logistical considerations and responsibilities for external project members; government officials, stakeholders and media. This role required me to be highly organised, adaptable, focused and calm under pressure, with lots of problem solving thrown in for good measure! In addition I organised in-house company events in the UK and Prague.
