I provide oversight of State Aid compliance, overall budget monitoring and timetabling. I led the development of the Marine Business Technology Centre, securing the initial £5m project (from European Regional Development funding - ERDF) to ensure that innovation and business growth are supported within Oceansgate and for the supply chain and wider sector.

      Working in the Economic Development Department as part of the City Deal team. I was responsible for Management of business support contracts including contracts to develop the Growth Hub across the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, Devon and Somerset peninsula. The initial 15 month programme of work, funded with £5.8m of Regional Growth Funding, supported over 70 projects. Over 800 jobs were created and businesses invested over £12m in their growth projects.I also supported the £3m Youth Deal programmes for PCC- a Wage Progression pilot, Personalised Mentoring Service and 'Futureworks' - engaging schools with employers. I managed the procurements for PCC and then oversaw budgets, outputs reporting and contract performance management.I followed this with a 9 month research project to map business support services across the Heart of the South West LEP area (Devon and Somerset Counties). This informed the specification for procurement of the Growth Hub service from 2017.
