I had the great pleasure of working with Anna throughout her ambassadorship with The GREEN Program. Anna participated in our Iceland: Renewable Energy Innovation and Sustainability program in spring 2022 and was selected to be an ambassador for the 2022-23 academic term. As ambassador, Anna served as the liaison between our team and the University of Virginia and acted as the main point of contact with students, faculty, and the university. In this role, Anna was instrumental in spreading awareness around our program and laying the groundwork for potential partnerships with study abroad offices and faculty. During her ambassadorship, Anna really helped promote TGP programs on campus through her network, connections, and her story. Anna’s strengths in relationship-building and communication really showed in her ability to navigate different parts of campus and how she was able to organize meetings with advisors, faculty, and students.
