      • Jun 2023 - Present

I have organized and am conducting a research study on the effect of maternal depression on the cognitive development of malnourished children at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu, Kenya. Cognitive development is being measured by heart rate variability through the use of an electrocardiogram and through the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development. This project would not be possible without the tireless aid of Dr. Dickens Onyango, Dr. Caroline Sawe and my research assistants. Show less
