  I worked in the Tumor Genomics research group at the Faculty of Medicine as a part of the bioinformatics team, so I worked with all kinds of bioinformatics data analysis. My main responsibilities included developing and maintaining in-house sequencing data analysis pipelines (whole genome/whole exome/RNA-sequencing) and working with single-cell RNA-sequencing data.

  I worked at the Department of Computer Science in Genome-Scale Algorithmics research group. The projects included both theoretical work (designing algorithms and analyzing their performance in asymptotic terms), and implementation and testing of various algorithms. The topics of the projects centered around RNA-seq read alignment and reference-based transcript assembly using long, third-generation sequencing reads.
