This project aimed to examine the relationship between risk taking behaviours and anxiety during adolescence and adulthood. My main responsibilities were conducting a small literature review to gain a deeper understanding of the research topic; testing a wide range of participants; analysing and interpreting behavioural data; and presenting findings to a group of peers and supervisors. I was also involved in collecting EEG data from the same cohort of participants, looking at differences in approach and avoidance behaviour throughout development. Over the eight weeks I was trained to work with the technology.

This is the longest position I retained and it provided me with invaluable experience. I took on responsibilities of tutoring zones of up to six children of ages 5-11 in Maths and English, corresponding with parents as well as conducting one-on-one 11+ practices and leading workshops. The position required me to quickly learn new skills, provided by my employer through training. This is the longest position I retained and it provided me with invaluable experience. I took on a paid internship in Ukraine as an interpreter in three languages: Russian, Ukrainian and English. As well as translating official documentation, I performed the role of an office assistant, holding conference calls, running various errands, dealing with suppliers and preparing documents. The role was extremely enjoyable and I have learned a lot about corporate business and working as part of a team.
