Youth Organizing Student Intern

This internship position provided support to APANO’s Youth Organizing team by assisting with TARO (Teaching Advocacy and Radical Organization) curriculum and implementation, co-developing the PSU School of Public Health Poetry Project, and offering capacity for other organizational back work. This position was a collaboration between APANO and Pacific University, that emphasized an enriching field experience in the Public Health sector. This internship consisted of one on one, group, and community-facing opportunities to support the multidisciplinary nature of Public Health education.

Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Student Union

Assisted APASU President in overseeing club activities and events. Worked closely with APASU officers to assist them in performing their duties. Was the liaise with Pacific University for event planning. Led general meetings in the absence of the President. Collaborated with APASU Secretary in taking attendance at each meeting and keeping track of member retention. Collaborated with the APASU President, & updated club advisor.
