I worked under Divya Gupta and with the engineering team to develop a gui user interface, machine interface scripts, and implementations of current machine vision softwares. In my time at More AI I was introduced to machine vision, Machine learning, and the startup software industry. Through my work, I improved my python and C++ knowledge as well as gained experience in the machine vision industry. I work in Professor Karl van Bibber's "PANDAS" at UC Berkeley. PANDAS is a research group currently looking for proof of the existence of a hypothetical dark matter particle called an axion. My team is creating a dark matter search algorithm which processes and then scans a set of radio frequencies for axion decay signals. I work under Aya Keller in this project, and am gaining hands-on coding experience as well as astrophysics and particle physics knowledge. I worked under Jake Rizika in the Office of the CEO, organizing research data and learning how to create meaningful presentations of the data for consumption throughout the organization. Along the way I also gained valuable insights into the priorities, goals, and overall functioning of a large biotech company.
