• Was the first in PVA history to successfully calculate Year End Joint Cost Allocation for sixty direct mail programs without any adjustments from outside auditors, which significantly reduced audit time, • Analyzes and monitors all fundraising cost for each fundraising activity equating to $65 million, • Serves as lead for audit on Joint Cost Allocation Calculation per SOP 98-2, • Monitors and reconciles the components of the financial accounts on a continual and timely basis to insure accuracy and validity of account balances, • Processes month-end and year-end journal entries, • Creates and distributes monthly financial reports for management, • Monitors actual results to budget and documents material differences between final results and budget, • Reviews all vendor invoices from the Development Department for correct coding, • Analyzes direct mail campaigns to determine proper distribution of costs in accordance with GAAP, • Works with Development Department and CFO to create and reconcile budgets for fundraising, • Monitors and reviews related system reports for accuracy and completeness, Responsible for the chart of accounts for PVA’s Development Department, • Reconciles the Investment Accounts on a monthly basis and creates all journal entries for interest, dividend, realized/unrealized gain/loss, and cash, • Prepares monthly Investment Reports for Finance Committee Meeting, • Manages the preparation and filling of 1099 form (IRS and states), • Responsible for preparation of monthly Cash Flow Reports, • Finance Committee Liaison: assist Treasurer in Finance Committee Meeting Preparation, works with Treasurer to create Committee Meeting agenda, collect/compile all reports and motions, oversees book and other material production, oversees material distribution to Committee Members, Executive Committee, Guests, Staff, responsible for meeting logistics, maintains and distributes Policy and Procedures Manual.
