Anna has clear leadership skills and offers a level of energy and enthusiasm to galvanize a team into forward motion. Anna’s attitude helps to drive productivity and creates a convivial environment for relationships to grow within the team. Anna is willing and able to jump in for anything the team needs but also knows how to step back and when to let other people shine. It was a pleasure working with Anna and I would highly recommend her leadership and team skills.

    • Co Founder and Head Mentor
      • Apr 2015 - May 2017

Core 1 is a quintessential part of the Scripps experience because it is the only class every student is required to take together. After taking it my first year and hearing experiences of students in it my second year, I realized there were some changes that needed to be made. I spearheaded a campaign to make changes to the Scripps Core curriculum in order to improve the experiences of students of color in the classroom by securing funding and structural support. In order to do so, I facilitated 16 Core Mentors and advise them on issues of diversity in the classroom. The Core Mentors also provided academic support for first year college students through writing support. Show less

As a research assistant with foundry10 I aided in compiling, analyzing and sharing findings from many different projects including an experiential girls group, our high school intern program, and the virtual reality classroom pilot program through social media campaigns, white papers, infographics and other web content.
