Main project: Advice for soil quality improvement and disease mitigation for a parcel under short-term lease with severely degraded soil. Assessed soil chemical and biological quality and illustrated issues using QGIS. Created a crop choice framework based on disease response, farmer interest, and soil quality effect. Modelled and optimized a 6-year cropping and fertilization plan in NDICEA. Presented the advice to several government stakeholders and farmers, setting up the basis for this 6-year pilot project. Side projects: Statistical exploration of soil indicators across multiple regions, setup of an internal document of company knowledge on circular agriculture, prepared discussion points for a meeting between CLM employees and the director of Bionext.
