I had the pleasure of working with Anna while she was a digital media and videography specialist at Delta Marketing Group. Anna jumped into our video program with enthusiasm, whether creating videos for our agency or our clients. My relationship with Anna began upon learning that she was in the group scheduled to go on the international service trip to Nepal in 2015, and when the trip was cancelled because of the earthquake, Anna went on her own. I believe the strength, courage, and eagerness that Anna exhibited in going to Nepal on her own shows the kind of person Anna is. Anna is gentle, kind, eager to learn, and an incredibly supportive group member. She has the ability to improve challenging situations with her laughter, positive attitude, and strong spirit. Her resilience, sense of self, confidence, coping skills, and thoughtfulness is exhibited in everything through which she is engaged. We faced a good number of difficult situations on our way to Nepal, let alone while we were there. And while some group members struggled with the transitions, Anna was the ever-present stability for her peers with a smile on her face. Anna continuously exhibited an incredible balance of being immersed with the Nepalese people, spending time getting to know our host family, as well as time with the volunteer members within our group. I have the fullest confidence in knowing that she will embrace any future experience with open arms and attitude. In doing so, Anna's presence will be an asset to her peers, and she will continue to grow to be even more of a remarkable person.
