I had the pleasure of being mentored by Ann in the first few years of my healthcare career. I have since started a company sharing some of the very values I learned from Ann. In our industry, it is imperative that the clinical and service aspects of a facility are within regulatory guidelines – not only from a state-mandated aspect, but from a resident care aspect as well. I consider Ann to be one of the best at healthcare leadership and marketing – detailed, conscientious, and dependable and always available to staff and external resources from a leadership standpoint. She was always professional and sensitive to the residents’ needs and their family’s request regarding care. And her ability to lead her team in that venture is admirable. Ann’s ability to structure and manage a healthcare operation (both leadership and marketing) was paramount in her ability to manage such a workload. Ann’s relationship skills have served her well when it comes to referral sources, families and State Agencies as she has a great rapport with the key players and they respect her attention to details. Few healthcare professionals are as attentive to a facility’s ‘big picture’ needs. I would, without reservation, highly recommend Ann to any company looking to bring their reputation to a higher level of excellence.

I had the pleasure of working with Ann when she was Executive Director at Alterra Heathcare. We found that we had a personal mutual connection and from that point on it was as if we had known one and other for years. She was very helpful and professional and was always available to assist me with whatever my needs were. I found her to be very kind and compassionate to the residents and all those around her. Unfortunately I do not get the opportunity to see Ann too often since she has moved to Sheperd of the Valley.
