I worked with Ann at WWT for many years and she completely revolutionised the way we engaged with our visitors. She developed WWT’s first segmentation model and embedded this approach across everything WWT did, from marketing to education to wetland centre design. I was a fundraiser trying to raise money for the development of new centre exhibits, so visitor segmentation was an absolute gift and a massive factor in fundraising success. As well as being hugely skilled and extremely conscientious, Ann’s great strength is probably being able to make things happen - moving projects forward, despite the obstacles, bringing people with her, and always staying positive!
