      Client Projects: Missouri Bio-Fuels - Worked with Missouri Bio-Fuels to update feasibility study for bio-diesel production from waste or virgin vegetable oils, put together business plan and financing plan, design and size process equipment, did environmental design for spill containment, and wrote grant applications. STORM, LLC – Worked with STORM (now Redleaf Innovations) to do the space design for an expansion of the Los Gatos, California office and for buildout of new office space in an historic building in Pittsburgh for their new Pittsburgh office (3030 Penn Avenue). Coordinated the efforts of STORM, the architects, the interior design/furniture planning company and the construction company. I did project management, coordinated space design and cost estimates, provided construction oversight, problem solving, schedule facilitation and cost control. Aristech Chemical Corporation – Worked with Aristech Corporate Quality Group on their ISO 9001 effort and development of a computer integrated information management system. ISO consulting resulted in the ISO 9002 registration of the Haverhill. Ohio plant (~350 people). Customer complaints were reduced >70% in the first year after registration. This effort included program management from planning the registration effort, revision of all training materials, training all plant personnel, planning and conducting the internal auditing effort to working with the registrar. FORMTEK, Inc. Worked with FORMTEK to improve customer satisfaction and to define and improve their business and quality processes using teams. Also did team training and facilitation. Network for Financial Independence (NFI) - Worked with NFI to plan their start-up and as an advisor during their start-up. Worked with them to improve their organization and business systems.       ARISTECH CHEMICAL CORPORATION Corporate ISO Program Manager, 1993 to 1994 The LaPorte, Texas plant (~200 people) was registered in 15 months with customer complaints reduced >50% in the first year after registration. Initiated and chaired the first Coordination of Efforts committee that addressed joint issues between the quality, engineering, environmental, safety and health and operations groups. This included developing revised operating procedures format that took environmental regulations, safety regulations and ISO 9000 requirements into consideration. Senior Process Engineer, 1989 to 1993 - Developed licensing packages for two Aristech technologies. Did technical and economic assessments of several joint venture opportunities. Led multiple Bisphenol-A process improvement efforts that resulted in a six-fold reduction in downtime and reduced waste production and variation from the plant such that a $2 million cumene extraction unit did not have to be built.
