When Hannah Beardsley was built in 1996 I was asked to head up the science department. This entailed organizing ordering for the department, presenting science workshops and generally helping out new teachers to the department in addition to a full teaching load. I served on a variety of school and district committees as well as serving as a team leader my entire time at Beardsley.
