I worked with Ann as a personal trainer. I also did pilates with her, both as private sessions and in classes. Ann is very skilled. I had a lot of physical barriers (weight, back, ankle, etc..) and Ann was very creative in working out different ways for me to be successful in a variety of exercise situations. I have taken pilates classes since I have moved, and now realize that she is even more skilled than I had realized at the time.

      For nearly 20 years, I have taught many styles of yoga: Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin and Hot Hatha. While there are many names, it is all one practice. I have also taught Pilates mat classes and on the apparatus to individuals and groups. Currently, I am blending my experiences of yoga, Pilates and Thai Yoga Massage and classical Yoga Therapy techniques to work with individuals struggling to find balance within their bodies by teaching them to access deep core muscles for both breath and movement. My sessions also help clients recover from injuries, to improve their every day movements and to improve their yoga practice both personal and in classes. Adjunct faculty member at Indiana University teaching yoga for credit: Pre-yoga, Yoga I and Yoga II. Also teaching group classes and workshops at the Indiana University Recreational Sports Center and various studios and locations in the Bloomington area. 700 Hour Yoga Certification from All People Yoga of Indianapolis (200), The Himalayan Institute (200) and Sangam Yoga of India (300).Pilates certifications from Stott Pilates and IM=X Pilates.
