Currently employed as a Process Technician Engineering in the ETCH module at Globalfoundries.At the moment this includes but is not limited to; releasing Inhibits from tools (analysis of SPC charts, tool and lot history & FDC), running ERF/Pilot lots. Responding to and recovering from tool errors (Use of OCAP). Use of SAP for test wafer kit building and logging/review of UP/DOWN tools. Creation of Process Abort Protocols & MRB’s.

Daily review of SPC (Statistical Process Charts) charts to see if there were any tools that may have been trending out of control. Daily review of problem recipes that were running on the tools, if there were; these recipes then had to be relearned to the optimum parameters. Daily meeting with Engineering and Equipment owners to review and plan any scheduled downtime for PM’s or experimental work. Completing Engineering based experiments and writing up the subsequent white papers Writing of new specifications and BKM’s or reviewing and updating existing ones. Writing of xRFC’s (Response Flow Checklists), these were used by technicians to react to various issues that arose during the day. Training of new process technicians into the area. Root cause analysis of excursions that occurred in the Implant area. Responsible for ensuring that quality and safety procedures were followed to ensure that Die/Line yield goals were met. Daily running of operations in the bay, this included manual tuning of the individual toolsets when they failed to set up automatically, goaling output for the area, scheduling of break times to ensure that bay was covered at all times during the shift. Communications up and down stream to notify them of any problems with our section of the line. Attending daily meeting with Production manager to determine Production/Process priorities and goals on a shiftly basis in line with customer commitments. Using multiple live systems to identify, correct and realign priorities in response to factors occurring in other areas of the line. Communication with other departments such as Engineering and IQ to provide continuous feedback on production, quality and continuous improvement activities. Show less
