• Process multistate Bi-weekly and Semi-monthly payroll for over 50 optometric practices, timely and accurately for all locations/states for 1000+ employees. • Obtain, verify and process all payroll changes and updates from managers and/or human resources team including new hires, termination, leave of absence, retro pay adjustments, benefits and salary adjustments. • Calculate, verify and deduct appropriate payroll deductions including tax withholdings, benefits, garnishments, child support, IRS lock-in letters, bankruptcies and levis. • Research and resolve any pay or tax related discrepancies or inquiries in timely manner. • Prepare month end payroll related journal entries and reconciliation. • Support Accounts/Finance team with checks and balance entries and other payroll functions for general ledger via NetSuite. • Coordinate with Ceridian and ADP to ensure all tax filings are completed timely and accurately for multi-state locations and entities including 941; 940 and W-2. • Prepare and maintain monthly employee base in earnings reports.
