Vision and Language Group, is a student-run deep learning centric group of IIT Roorkee. We meet up regularly to take up discussions on latest advancements in the deep learning field by reviewing various papers accepted in various tier-1 DL/CV/NLP conferences. With a strong collaborative history, we have taken up projects under professors from different universities, some of which have even lead to publications in tier-1 DL conferences. Worked on applying Variational Inference to Continual learning by applying Gaussian Mixture Model on weights obtained by training Bayesian CNN's on a variety of datasets. I worked on extending the main code to be compatible with various datasets and some changes in the code to improve performance. I also conducted experiments to find the optimal hyperparameters for the models.
