  During my time working at the Nova Scotia Child Care Association I was responsible for membership services. I was the primary contact for the 400+ members from across NS. I did membership renewals and created new member profiles. I revamped the membership packages and created new certificates and membership cards. I contacted businesses related to the Early Childhood field and worked with them to create discounts for our members. I also worked with the director in planning events and conferences. We held two large conferences yearly and between 250 and 350 participants attended them. The conferences typically had two main guest speakers as well as break out sessions.   I was the owner and operator of an indoor playground and music school. We provided daily entrance during the week for the play area and private bookings for birthday parties or other events. Our music school provided lessons for guitar, voice, and piano. I managed a small staff of 6-10 employees and scheduled and managed approximately 40+ music students on a weekly basis. I did minor book keeping and prepared bi-weekly pay cheques.
