In last eight years I have used various nanotechnology tools for scholarly interest, and also applied the nanotechnology for clinical and toxicology research. In addition I have contributed to systems biology in coronary risk assessment and introduced a non-equilbrium thermodynamic formulation for explaining thermodynamic coupling and entropy enthalpy compensation. My group has developed a number of sensors e.g. for temperature determination from double plasmon ( AgNP-trp) , ACS risk prediction using platelets and NP , oxygen sensor (Patent in process) , glucose sensor, chirality sensor . We have also developed a carbon nanotube based lipid discriminator. A new opto-magnetic spectroscopic technique has been published from our lab which may lead to interesting applications in quantum biology. We have shown use of gold nanoparticles in corneal penetration . A new technique namely time correlated thermal imaging has been introduced to identify dry eye disease (ADDE) . Lately, I have entered into this field of quantum biology and have probed the problem of weak perturbation sensing among small molecules biomolecules and cells. My parallel interest is centered on development of new biomaterials using self-assembled bio-molecular or cellular systems. This work has already has got a good start and I hope some interesting biomaterials from our lab very soon. Show less
