Worked on an Indo-Swedish project based on "synthesis and characterization of carbon membranes and monoliths from unburned carbon present in bagasse fly ash and their environmental applications". Have adopted a very simple procedure for synthesising the membranes and monoliths and have done characterization through Thermal analysis(TGA), SEM analysis and nitogen and CO2 adsorption measurements and FTIR analysis. The formed monoliths and membranes were tested for phenol removal, VOCs adsorption experiments. Show less
