I am currently leading a clinical trial to test whether our intervention using incentives based on principles of behavioral economics as well as reminders and quizzes can help motivate patients to develop healthier habits and improve their medication adherence. I am also developing content, gamification techniques, and other ways to reward healthy behaviors for our digital healthcare solution. Postdoctoral Researcher

Feb 2013 - Aug 2020
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow of the European Commission from 2014 to 2016.I am interested in using behavioral, computational, neuroimaging, and brain stimulation methods to examine how people make value-based decisions in uncertain environments or with trade-offs between short- and long-term outcomes. I am particularly focused on understanding the neural underpinnings, esp. from a multivariate and network perspective, of when people make exploratory decisions or decisions related to self-control. Brain stimulation and neurofeedback methods in particular allow causal explanations for how neural processes form the basis of each decision strategy and computational methods can help further quantify such processes.
