  I live and work in my self-built, all-adobe house where I divide my time among the painting studio, my garden, and writing. My book COYOTA IN THE KITCHEN, UNM Press, 2016, has won 2 prizes! The Fabiola Cabeza de Baca and Southwest Book Awards, and the journal for Chicana/Latina Studies published a short story of mine (Volume 16).
