Bio
Diana Nambatya Nsubuga, Ph.D.
I had the pleasure of working with Anita for three years as her manager at Global Health Corps but have had the opportunity to see her on many occasions, performing with exceptional skill for a person of her age. I was specifically impressed by Anita’s ability to effectively execute various programs that enabled the team to meet the organization’s goals. Anita was outstanding in building engagement for the alumni community in Uganda by planning and executing innovative programs for the community’s professional development and collective action. This is based not only on her exceptional strategic thinking but also on her ability to think on her feet and communicate the organization's initiatives in a way that promotes teamwork and product knowledge. She was also very fundamental in building an efficient finance and reporting system for the country office that improved the financial management of the program. Anita is a strategist. She is an outstanding young woman with exceptional leadership skills, particularly good interpersonal skills, and a wonderful work ethic. Anita is an asset to any team.
Dithan Kiragga
She is smart employee who is thorough in her work and able to push an organization’s technical agenda while respecting the culture and dynamics of the host teams.
