In my current role as a rentals coordinator my responsibilities include:- To co-ordinate customer requirements for provision of drilling rental equipment. - Involved in procurement of drilling tubulars and associated equipment. - Development of inventory levels dependant on upcoming and continual customer needs. - Communication and liaison with customers/suppliers to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a sufficient and timely manner. - Make sure that all certification is checked thoroughly before equipment is sent offshore. - Co-ordinate equipment movements within the rental department to guarantee any requirements for customers are met.- Visiting customers to ensure all satisfactory needs are met and to maintain a close working relationship.At the moment I look after the material movements for a few larger companies such as Taqa, Enquest, Total and Baker Hughes.
