  I am based in Kilkenny city and travel daily the 50 minutes to Portlaoise. Within Enva I worked as a financial accountant reporting directly to the finance manager of Enva Ireland Ltd. My role initially was a maternity leave cover for eight months to finish in October 2015 but as of the 1st of July 2016 I have been made permanent. While I worked with Enva it was a subsidiary of DCC Plc and we reported directly to DCC as part of group reporting. Within Enva Ireland there are a number divisions in three locations in Ireland, Portlaoise, Cork and Shannon. Enva started as a waste oil collection company and have branched into water treatment and other environmental services. I was responsible for the accruals prepayments, fixed assets and month end file preparation. We had tight reporting deadlines to DCC Plc on a monthly basis.
