Design, layout, production and editing of this magazine. When I started working on Buddhism Today magazine it was my task to redesign the whole magazine's layout and masthead. I design articles, manage a team of layout designers , search or create artwork, do all the final rounds of text edits with our team of copy editors, and I take on the final production: photo editing and uploading the files to the printer, working closely with the magazine editors and our printer associates. At Sandbox I started designing a particle physics magazine called Symmetry. It was a printed magazine for Fermilab and SLAC. I would receive the word doc from the scientists at Fermilab and we will meet with them at the laboratory every Monday to brainstorm design concepts for each article. From them I would art direct photoshoots or draw the illustrations by hand or digitally to create the artwork. Then I would create many layout ideas. From them I would art direct photoshoots or draw the illustrations by hand or digitally to create the artwork. Then I would create many layout ideas. After the whole magazine was designed and approved, I will do the text editing together with the scientists, and finally I would rag the text and look closer at any possible design error. I would prepare the files for the printer, and then I would spent many days at the printer checking the color quality of each form as they came out fresh from the press and I would do color corrections accordingly. I also worked closely with Matt Stone on many other projects, like Prospect magazine for Elmhurst College, to which I won a design award for it's redesign. We did thousands of projects for Elmhurst, from posters, billboards, presentations, slide shows, newsletters, to many more, including the redesign of their football field.
