  Parsons was engaged as the Project Management Consultant for Riyadh City North-Mega Infrastructure Development at Abu Dhabi, Electrical supervision scope includes Optimization of the 22kV network by loading the loop to a maximum of 13MVA, Addition of new 177 Nos Distribution Substations to meet the power demand due to increase in GFA and 1343 Infill Plots. Reconfiguration of 22kV Loops to supply the power supply to the development from existing primary substation in interim and ultimately from two x 400KV primary substations. Re arrangement of LV network including redistribution of load on existing and new substations, feeder pillars-1169 no’s, service Cabinets and cancellation and removal of Service turrets. Installation of 176km 22KV cable, 47.5km FOC, 1561km LV cable, 3725 streetlight pole and its 255km cabling works, Telecommunication, ADMCC monitoring system, Tie in connection with all existing utilities. interaction with a multitude of project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors. Additional scope – 8nos storm water ponds and Driveways relocation and construction of 36 no’s of traffic junction signals.

  Parsons was engaged as the Project Management Consultant for a 3B+G+2P+8+R mixed use building twin tower and infrastructure bases in the Abu Dhabi, UAE. Parsons scope included all engineering and architecture design and documentation services, from concept to final handing over, necessary to deliver their regional headquarters building with world class office facilities, retail and hospitality involving comprehensive interaction with a multitude of project stakeholders. The entire precinct is rated at a Pearl-1, Abu Dhabi Estidama Green Building rating.Responsibilities : Review of Shop Drawings, Material / technical Submittals and RFIs as per the Project Specification & Contract Documents. Coordinating with local authorities and agencies to ensure all shop drawing submittals comply with regulations Coordinating with multiple contractors and consultants at site, related to constructional issues.Testing and commissioning of Electrical systems and managing the related handing-over procedures and contract close-out, Generating reports of work.Ensuring that any activity offered for inspection has an approved shop drawing, method statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP). Attending all the planned site inspections as per the intervention points marked in the relevant ITP.All site inspection being carried out vide an official Inspection and Test request (ITR) submitted by the CONTRACTOR through the proper channels, Inspection status being recorded in the ITR and any relevant check sheet as per the approved QCP. Any outstanding items shall be verified prior to closing the ITR. Verify with Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) that all relevant test results related to specific ITR meets the project requirements.

  Project : Orbital Express Highway and Truck Route, Qatar - ASHGHAL Project.The project is one of four projects that make up the Orbital Highway which consists of 125 km of expressway and 22 interchanges. The project is the northernmost section of this expressway and is located northwest of Doha provides a new road between Dukhan Highway and AI Khor Highway. The Project includes 45km of road network and five grade-separated interchanges. The main road consists of 10-Iane section (5 in each direction) with additional Collectors/Distributor roads, frontage roads and ramps. In addition to this, two separated auxiliary lanes in each direction are provided as designated truck lanes and are separated from the mainline lanes. The mainline typical section also has a provision for a future addition of two more inner lanes in each direction (totalling to 14 lane mainline section). Electrical Inspections (HV, MV and LV ) of 45km new express highway including 400KV & 66KV tower relocation works, 11kv diversion, cable installation, joints, termination, testing and commissioning. 30m High mast and 14m pole installation, T&C. Installation ,T&C of 24 Nos. PSS, 9 Nos indoor substations, 84Nos of Feeder pillars etc. Pumping stations lighting, small power, equipment's, Earthing, landscape and tunnel lighting, bridge lighting, QAF, ITS, SSD etc.
