As an associate producer, I am responsible for timing out the live news broadcast. I work in AP ENPS to time the show. Before the show, I will send videos from NewsPath or NewsSource to ENPS from Final Cut. File management is important. After the live show, I transition into field reporting for the day. I drive to the location of a local event and record video and interview people of interest. Then I return to the WABI office and edit my footage using Final Cut. I then send the finished edited video to ENPS for broadcast, and write the script for the story. I have also been sent to breaking events.
