  ¨ Responsible for the project management, program design, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the homeownership initiatives, CDBG programs, HUD counseling services, building coalitions, advocacy, and the development of jobs through the Logan Square Neighborhood Association "Incubator Without Walls" program. Assisted 30 single mothers to open their own child care home businesses.¨ Maintained good relations and communications with existing founders such as Fannie Mae, Campaign for Human Development, Fields Foundation, and City of Chicago. Prepared grants in conjunction with the Director of Development and board members in charge of this activity. Annually raised $100,000¨ Developed excellent working relationships and partnerships to work collaboratively with board members, lenders, realtors, contractors, developers, and government agencies, other nonprofit, for- profit organizations, churches, schools, City of Chicago, community businesses, and residents to fight for equal justice and advocate to create affordable housing opportunities to improve the overall community’s quality of life.¨ Assisted the LSNA's Housing Alliance and the Logan Square Reinvestment Coalition (a group of 20 lending institutions, business owners, and community residents) to initiate new housing and economic development initiatives. ¨ Assisted 82 low and moderate-income families into homeownership, in addition, provided more than 1800 homeownership, landlord education, credit, default, and foreclosure counseling sessions.¨ Worked organizing, planning, developing, and project management of a pilot limited equity housing cooperative program to assist 16 low and moderate-income families into homeownership in collaboration with two other non-profit organizations; the Chicago Mutual Housing and Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation.
