Structural Engineer, YMPL Engineering Firm As a Structural Engineer at YMPL Engineering Firm, I was responsible for designing and analyzing various projects that required my expertise in structural engineering. During my tenure, I had the opportunity to work on several exciting projects that challenged me to expand my skill set and knowledge of the field. One of the notable projects I worked on was the design of a modular staircase for a commercial building. The challenge here was to create a structure that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I utilized my knowledge of various materials and design principles to create a staircase that was not only structurally sound but also visually appealing. Another project that I worked on was the design of an office cube with trusses. The client wanted an open-concept space that allowed for maximum natural light and a feeling of spaciousness. I utilized trusses to create a structurally sound design that met the client's requirements while maintaining the building's structural integrity. I also worked on a street light project where I designed the foundations for the street light poles. This project required me to consider various factors such as soil conditions, wind loads, and seismic activity to ensure the foundations were robust enough to support the street light poles. Lastly, I was involved in designing the foundations for several commercial and residential buildings. This project required me to utilize my knowledge of various design principles and software tools to create foundation designs that were both structurally sound and efficient. These projects allowed me to gain valuable experience in the field of structural engineering and helped me understand the nitty-gritty of this exciting career.
