Determine regulatory courses of action regarding identified potential or troubled companies and communicate to the insurance company management via letters, e-mails, conference calls and/or meetings. Make recommendations to approve or disapprove various requested transactions from the insurance companies. Transactions include: certificate of authority, acquisition, merger, management/service agreement, tax allocation agreement, reinsurance agreements, lease agreement, agent agreements, and extraordinary/ordinary dividend. Coordinate and communicate with departmental division leaders, other state insurance departments, and the insurers regarding various issues.
