Aug 2010 - Present
My family has been farming wild blueberries for 40 years now and we have fields in Colchester and Cumberland counties on the North Shore of Nova Scotia. We have approximately 200 acres of wild blueberry land, half of which is in production at any one time, the other half is 'in sprout', or resting (we harvest the plants every two years). Our spray-free wild blueberries are grown without any chemicals; instead we enrich the soil with lobster shells and introduce helpful bacteria with compost tea. . We sell fresh and frozen wild blueberries, make regular deliveries to Halifax and host a variety of fundraisers. Show less
