I am currently working long term subbing jobs, completing two back-to-back assignments for a total of 12.5 weeks in 7th grade. Before that, have enjoyed working throughout the Dickinson Public School district in multiple elementary schools and the middle school, from grades K-8, with the option to work in a high school setting as well I have always enjoyed working within schools. After obtaining my substitute teaching license and having a chance to teach, I found that I excel at teaching and enjoy the discussions and exchange that goes on within the teaching environment. During Covid school closures, when subs were not needed, I expanded my knowledge and completed an online alternate certification program and received my ND teaching license in September 2020. After obtaining a high level position in my career, I had the opportunity to travel abroad with my family. I thoroughly enjoyed traveling to France, Thailand, Singapore, Mauritius, and Vienna. We lived in Dubai, UAE for 5 years and I consider myself fortunate to have had that amazing experience and came away with a greater understanding of people, their cultures and beliefs. While there I volunteered extensively, supporting the schools, and aiding those in need. --Created a parent advocacy and support group for parents of students with “hidden” medical conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, and life threatening allergies. --Managed the annual International Day performance schedule attended by over 3,000 students. --Managed, transformed, and marketed the parent run Secondhand Uniform Shop. Increased revenue by a minimum of 200%. --Assist AERObridge (an international charity) in meeting with attorneys to start the process of obtaining a non-profit status. Show less

Promoted from within I quickly rose to the position of Executive Vice President and Director of Operations for a non-profit religious organization comprised of 6 different congregations of varying faiths. When not used by the congregations, I oversaw the process of externally renting to non-profit, government, and personal events seven days a week. It was a diverse and challenging environment and worked due to my ability to hire the correct people for the correct job, my belief in cross-training, and my passion to create a positive work space which yields retention. When I left, the employees who were there had the skills and dedication to step into their new roles. I handled marketing, market analysis, the transition into new booking software, and the training of all staff. My position directly reported to a Board of Directors and handled all Human Resource functions for 10+ employees. --Managed a $500K annual building and operations budget and business transactions. --Successful grant writing obtaining $25,000 in security improvements. --Oversaw, directly working with contractors, two (2) major building improvement projects of over $80,000. --Transitioned new long term leasee into the building securing over $100,000 in yearly revenue. --Assisted with the buy out/exit of one user congregation and re-structure of the existing user congregation while still maintaining the then current budget. ---Successful completion of Leadership Howard County Program.
